I think, that the innovative drive mode in the BYD may be the decider for you. Nevertheless, if you have a camper, maybe the Kuga will come first, because of the „Trekgewicht“. Hope, you will be happy with your new car, whatever it will be.

What I don‘t understand is: why does the Kuga switch into eco mode in a „German eco zone“? By the way: what is the German eco zone? Do you mean the signs, that show that you need a green badge behind the windshield? If yes, this function is totally useless. No one is interested in these zones, how you drive. You just need that badge 🤷🏻‍♀️.

Good question. I also do not know what a German eco zone is, I am from The Netherlands. I just noticed in the display that the car switch to eco mode at the start of the zone and at the end of the zone back. Yes I agree that I prefer the drive train of the DMI since bassically you always drive electric eccept when you do a kickdown when the ICE also gives some support to the transmission.

Concerning the driving dynamics of the dmi. I am waiting for the "type 04" update of the dmi at the dealer. This update improve the driving dynamics since it makes the car a bit firmer. This update first came available in Australia after many complaints about the too soft suspension for Australia road conditions. If you order a dmi in the Netherlands now you get the type 04 update.

I still am looking for reliable fuel consumption data (inclusive the driving conditions like driving mode, speed, type of road etc. ) of the dmi with a SOC of 25% (so "empty battery" and the car drives in HEV mode).

You can buy cheap 11kW wallboxes for ~200-250€

If you have a solar system, then the "special ones" which are managed by your solar input are ~700€.

Mounting that to a wall i like mounting a picture. Not hard at all.

The only thing which can be tricky is "making the hole for the cable".

Making the final electric connection is the only thing which has to be done by a professional, as I guess you also need to register it with your electric company.

Yes it is that difficult since they have to make adaption to my old electric system at home and do some digging to find the acces point outside and than pull an electric cable to my electric cabinet inside..

Yes the cheapest one was 2000 euro and the most expensive one was 3200 euro

Someone did block me after your respons so I asumed it was you. So my excusses if it was not you. However I was logged out and could not log in anymore and had to create a new profile. OK it works now again with this new profile and I hope it will stay this way.
