What to buy Seal U dmi awd or Ford Kuga active X PHEV

  • after first day in Kuga (950 km) :


    consumption 15,2 km per 1 liter bis zu 17.2 km per liter (in normal and eco mode and the adaptive cruise control on 140 kmh and sign recognition determined the speed, in Germany the speed on high ways changes very very often so the speed was between 80 and 140). However with empty battery and speeds below 100 kmh, consumptions of >18 km per liter can be achieved easily


    When i started the drive the battery was completely empty and it would not charge when in "EV later" mode, maybe the rental company blocked this feature. So I was not able to drive in EV only just in hybride mode. Nevertheless the car drives than 25% of the distance in EV mode. I think I prefer the DMI system where you always drive electric independent of the SOC of the battery.


    DAB receiption in Austria seems less, sometimes the radio was dead for 10 seconds. Probably same problem as in the DMI.


    Driving dynamics good but on bad roads not so comfortable. In the beginning you think it is quiet inside but after 400 km you start to sence the noise more than in the beginning.


    Interior has a lot of cheap plastic


    Head room (no panaroof) in the front is very good even in the highest sitting position


    Head on display (not on the front screen but on piece of plastic) : for me no value.
